Wella Professionals Koleston Perfect Pure Naturals 2/0 Black 60g is a permanent professional hair colour developed to deliver a deep, pure and balanced black result. It is part of the Koleston Perfect Pure Naturals family, which focuses on natural tonal results, dependable grey coverage and consistent colour performance.

The shade number 2/0 identifies both the depth and tonal direction. The number before the slash indicates colour depth, with level 2 representing black in Wella’s professional numbering system. The number after the slash indicates the tonal character, and “/0” represents a natural or neutral colour direction. This combination produces a deep black shade without an added blue, red, violet or golden reflect.

Shade 2/0 is particularly suitable for clients who want to colour their hair black, restore depth to faded dark hair or cover visible grey and white strands. When mixed with 6% Welloxon Perfect, the Pure Naturals formula can provide up to 100% grey coverage while producing a reliable and even result. 

Koleston Perfect is formulated with Wella’s Metal Purifier technology. Trace metals can be present in the hair and may interact with the colouring process. The built-in Metal Purifier is designed to help reduce additional hair damage associated with metals during colour development, while supporting precise and consistent colour formation.

The colour cream also contains ME+ dye technology. Wella states that ME+ considerably reduces the risk of developing a new allergy to hair colour while maintaining professional colour performance. However, it does not eliminate the possibility of an allergic reaction and is not suitable for anyone who has previously experienced an allergic response to hair colourants. An Allergy Alert Test must be performed 48 hours before every application.

The formula uses a simple 1:1 mixing ratio with Welloxon Perfect. For standard permanent colouring, the usual development time is 30–40 minutes without heat. The creamy consistency supports controlled application during full-head colour, root retouching, grey coverage and professional colour-correction services.

Wella Koleston Perfect Pure Naturals 2/0 is an oxidative permanent colour and contains ammonia and oxidative dye ingredients. It should not be marketed as ammonia-free, PPD-free, allergy-free or damage-free. Its final colour result will depend on the starting hair level, percentage of grey, porosity, previous artificial colour, developer strength and application technique.
