Matrix SoColor Pre-Bonded Permanent Hair Color Shade 5 Light Brown 90ml is a professional oxidative colour developed to provide consistent, permanent brown results. The shade is presented by the retailer as Light Brown, making it suitable for clients seeking a balanced brown result without adding a strongly defined golden, red, violet or mocha reflect.

The formula is part of Matrix’s professional SoColor range, which is designed to provide even colour saturation from the root area through the lengths and ends. Matrix India states that its shades are pre-adjusted for Indian hair, helping the formula deliver more accurate colour results on naturally darker starting levels.

Its pre-bonded formula is designed to protect the internal hair structure during the colouring process. Matrix India also associates the formula with Kera-Protect Technology and an anti-drying system intended to support smoother-looking, more evenly coloured hair after processing.

Matrix SoColor can provide up to 100% grey-hair coverage when the appropriate shade, developer strength, mixing ratio and processing time are used. For grey coverage, Matrix identifies its 20 Volume/6% Oxydant as the suitable developer for level-on-level colouring, darkening and covering grey hair.

The colour cream should be mixed with Matrix Oxydant in a 1:1.5 ratio and processed for 35–45 minutes. The exact result will depend on the starting hair level, previous artificial colour, percentage of grey hair, hair porosity and selected developer.

Because this product contains oxidative colourants including p-Phenylenediamine and Resorcinol, it should be applied according to the instructions printed on the pack. An allergy alert test must be carried out 48 hours before every colouring service.
